Additional AdviceLine service of festive break


Citizens Advice Carlisle & Eden will be offering a AdviceLine service which will provide advice and information to residents of Carlisle and Eden who have been affected by the recent flooding in the districts.

Residents are advised to call the local Citizen’s Advice on 01228 633900 between 10:30am and 6pm on Tuesday 29th if they need any support.

Operations Manager, Steve Hughes said: “In times where support is needed, people often turn to organisations like Citizens Advice to provide clear and concise information and advice.

“We have been working closely with both Eden District Council and Carlisle City Council along with Cumbria County Council and other statutory and nonstatutory
organisations to ensure we can provide the most uptodate information regarding the support available to local residents.

“We are best placed to provide information and advice to people who have the horrid task of rebuilding their lives, support is out there if you know where to look you are not alone.”

The local Citizens Advice will also be at Patterdale Primary School 10am till 2pm on Wednesday 30th to support residents of Eden affected by the flooding.
